David Rodeck is a financial writer and journalist based in New York City with over a decade of writing experience. He specializes in making investing, trading, and retirement planning understandable. He has written for AARP, Kiplinger Magazine, Forbes Advisor, Investopedia, and dozens of companies including Fidelity, Prudential, Robinhood, and Western & Southern.

Before writing full-time, David was a financial advisor and passed the Series 6 and CFP exams. Outside of work, David is an active Toastmaster and head of the Membership Committee for the New York Financial Writers Association (NYFWA).

David graduated from McGill University with a Major in Economics and Minors in Chemistry and Finance. He started his writing career to travel in Asia, where he learned how to speak Mandarin.
