StockBrokers.com has been the home of the most thorough and unbiased online broker reviews on the web since it was established in 2009. Our editorial principles and objective, data-driven reviews and guides have earned the trust of over 20 million readers since our inception.
An important part of our mission is shining a spotlight on industry standouts through our Annual Awards.
Based on our hands-on platform testing and meticulous, year-round data collection, the StockBrokers.com Annual Awards recognize brokerages, trading features, and trading service providers who help push the industry forward while delivering excellent value to U.S. investors. Awards fall into two areas, Category Awards and Industry Awards (further detail is below). Read more about how we test.
Leading our awards selection team are two industry veterans. Blain Reinkensmeyer, co-founder of StockBrokers.com, has more than 20 years of experience trading a variety of instruments. Lead writer Sam Levine has nearly three decades of experience in the investing industry as writer, investor and educator, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician designations.
Our congratulations to this year’s winners of the StockBrokers.com Annual Awards.

To ensure fairness as well as to gather the highest quality data, each agent used a single template to test all brokers.
To score each test, three separate buckets are assessed: 1. Time to connect 2. The ability of each broker representative to professionally (and thoroughly) answer each question and 3. A Net Promoter Score for the overall support experience. Response times are 15% of each test score, representative assessments are 35%, and Net Promoter Scores make up the remaining 50%.
Once all individual test scores were compiled, they were combined to determine an overall score for Customer Service.
In six weeks of customer service testing, Fidelity finished first overall with an average connection time of less than one minute, an average net promoter score of 9.4/10, an average professionalism score of 9.2/10, and an Overall score of 9.31/10. — StockBrokers.com Fidelity review
